The Legal Side, Made Simple
Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?
Blockages inside your boundary, from the house to where the pipe meets the street, are on you to fix. Once it crosses into the main line under the road, that stretch belongs to Sydney Water. If you can't tell which side a blockage is on, we can trace it for you on the visit.
What is safe to try myself before you arrive?
For a burst or leaking pipe, turn off the water at the meter to stop the flow. If you smell gas, leave the property and call from outside, and do not flick switches or light flames. Past that, leave the repair to us and keep clear until we arrive.
Can I check your plumbing licence?
Yes. We work under NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, and you're welcome to ask for it or look it up before we start. Being licensed and insured isn't optional in this trade, and we're glad to show it.
What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?
It means exactly what it says. If it's not right, we come back. No questions, no cost. That's the labour on the work we did, covered for good, nothing extra to sign or ask for.

Response and Booking
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes, every weekend and public holiday, the same as any other day. Emergency plumbing doesn't wait for the calendar, so neither do we. Call (02) 9138 6510 any time and you'll speak to a licensed plumber, not an answering machine.
What happens after I call?
A licensed plumber picks up directly, day or night, no call centre in between. We run through what's going on, get someone dispatched, and confirm the fixed price with you on-site before any work starts.
How does the callback form work?
If you'd rather not call, use the form below and we'll get back to you quickly. A real person picks it up, not a queue, and we'll talk timing and price before anyone heads your way.
How fast can you get here?
We move on emergency calls fast and aim to be on-site fast once you're booked in. Every minute counts when water's somewhere it shouldn't be, so we treat it that way from the first ring.

The Penshurst Side of Things
Why do Penshurst's older homes keep us busy?
Penshurst has plenty of Federation and interwar homes still running their original clay sewer pipes, and those pipes crack and let tree roots in as they age. It's a big part of why we're called out to the older streets so often.
Do you work on Penshurst's apartments and strata blocks?
Yes. Alongside the detached houses, Penshurst has a good number of units and apartment blocks, and we handle strata call-outs the same way. Hot water failures, blocked stacks and burst fittings included.
How local are you to Penshurst, really?
Penshurst is our regular run, not a suburb we pass through. We know Olds Park gets busy with cricket and Little Athletics, and that heavy summer storms can push the underground stormwater near McRaes Reserve past what it can carry.
Which suburbs do you service?
Penshurst is home turf, and we cover Hurstville, Mortdale, Beverly Hills, Peakhurst and Riverwood just as regularly. If you're nearby and not sure we reach you, give us a call and we'll confirm.
Money, Fixed Prices and the $0 Call Out Fee
Do prices change once the job starts?
Never.
The price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions.
If something extra turns up once we're underway, we stop and run it past you first.
Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?
No. Whether it's the small hours of the morning or a long weekend, the price you're quoted is the price you pay.
We don't run a separate after-hours rate sheet, so a burst pipe on a Sunday costs the same as it would on a Wednesday.
How do your quotes work?
We assess what's gone wrong and quote you a price before anyone touches a tool.
That number goes to you in writing, so what you see first is what you pay, with nothing added once we're underway.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No, it's $0 Call Out Fee to get a licensed plumber out to diagnose the problem, no strings attached.
The repair itself only goes ahead once you've said yes to the number in front of you.
